DPE - Reversible Stair Ramp RSR-1000

Reversible Stair Ramp

The Reversible Stair Ramp (RSR) is a slope accessory engineered to extend the DST8000 series' incline range for clinical gait rehabilitation. The RSR measures 90 cm (35.5 inches) in length with an 8-degree incline, providing a longer, gentler walking surface than the standard 60 cm (23.6-inch), 12-degree slope included with every DST unit.

The reduced 8-degree incline broadens patient eligibility across neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric stair-rehab protocols, particularly for early-stage rehabilitation where lower gradients better match patient capability. Manufactured by DPE Medical.

Features

Benefits of the RSR:

  • Provides a moderate-incline alternative for patients who struggle with the DST's standard 12-degree slope
  • Enables targeted slope-walking practice for gait rehabilitation
  • Adds three extra steps to the DST, extending the staircase to a full 7-step flight
  • Lets slope-averse patients access the DST without walking on an inclined surface

The RSR is fully compatible with the DST8000, DST8000 Pro, DST8000 Triple, DST8000 Triple Pro, and DST Triple Sense. It can be purchased separately and assembled directly to the DST hardware by the customer using the unit's built-in mounting points, requiring no specialized tools or additional installation services.
