Innovative and Versatile Design

Composed of three sections: rolling base (shower chair), bridge, and tub base, the SB2T is designed for maximum convenience. The rolling base can double as a bedside commode and can roll around the house like a wheelchair, allowing users easy transfer. Once in the bathroom, the SB2T can roll over most toilets to be used as an over-toilet commode. When toileting is complete, the rolling base and shower base are connected using the bridge, allowing the chair to slide in a tilted position with legs raised, ready to move over the tub.

Unique Tilt Feature for Comfort and Safety

The 30-degree infinite tilt feature provides pressure relief, increased comfort, and easy-reach bathing. This unique feature is exclusive to the SB2T and not found on any other shower transfer system. Once over the tub/shower, the rolling base and bridge can be disconnected and removed so that the shower curtain can be closed for privacy or to allow the caregiver space to move closer to the patient.

Safety and Convenience

A custom bridge may be required if the toilet is too close or too far from the tub. The SB2T features a secondary safety mechanism to prevent the chair from sliding off the tracks and causing injury. The SB2T chair comes equipped with a standard front-opening cushion, neck rest, swing-away and removable footrests with calf strap, flip-back/lockable and removable armrests, 5" lockable casters, a removable commode bucket with lid, chest belt, lap belt, and height adjustability.

How It Works

Showering:

1. Preparation: The seated user is prepared for bathing with the help of a carer.
2. Safety: Secure the user with comfortable safety belts.
3. Tilt Function: Using the tilt release, the carer leans the user back to clear the footrest over the bathtub edge.
4. Transfer: The user is transferred across into the bath and then leaned forward into a comfortable resting position.
5. Showering: Once the shower is complete, the carer repeats the process in reverse to transfer the user out.

Toileting:

1. Positioning: Place the TubBuddy Tilt over the home toilet and adjust the height if needed.
2. Secure Positioning: Lock the TubBuddy Tilt into place with the sturdy locking caster wheels.
3. Cleaning: The seat and frame are easy to clean, ensuring hygiene.
