RBE24 Details

The Rolling Chair Height Extender (RBE24) is essential for installations where the bathtub is higher than 535mm (21 inches) when using the SB2 or higher than 500mm (19 inches) when using the SB2T relative to the bathroom floor. These extenders are fitted at the time of home installation by the installer and must be ordered separately as an accessory.

Installation Process:

1. Disassemble Chair: Remove the upper portion of the chair by taking out the height adjustment clips in the main legs.
2. Lift Upper Section: Lift the whole top section of the chair out of the lower rolling frame.
3. Replace U Tubes: Remove the two U-shaped tubes fixed with thumb knobs to the underside of the cushion area and replace them with the longer RBE24 tubes.
4. Reassemble Chair: Refit the upper chair section back into the lower rolling base section.

This installation process ensures that the chair can be lifted to a higher level, allowing it to clear the side of the bathtub, providing a seamless and comfortable transfer.
