Infinium - OMNI Express Portable Vital Signs Monitor

Portable Precision

The OMNI Express® Portable Vital Signs Monitor features a 7-inch touch screen interface designed for efficient patient monitoring in outpatient facilities, emergency response environments, and paced clinical settings. The compact unit supports rapid deployment in tight spaces and during patient transport while maintaining consistent monitoring capability. Manufactured in the United States in an ISO 13485 facility, the device is TAA compliant and CE certified (#0476) for distribution within the European Economic Area.

The monitor supports multiple vital sign parameters including non-invasive blood pressure using SunTech technology, ECG with arrhythmia detection, SpO₂ monitoring with either Masimo or Nellcor technology, temperature measurement, and respiratory rate monitoring. Optional capnography support includes Respironics mainstream or sidestream EtCO₂ modules. The adaptable touchscreen interface allows configuration for various clinical workflows while maintaining compatibility with standard hospital monitoring requirements.

Features

  • Intuitive Touchscreen Interface
7” touchscreen for quick navigation, patient updates, and access to up to 120 hours of data. Supports multi-lead ECG, displays up to 3 waveforms, includes audio-visual alarms, graphical/tabular trends, quick BP recall, and a rechargeable battery with up to 3 hours of use.
  • Upgradable Monitoring
Adapts across care settings from general wards to surgical use. Standard monitoring includes NIBP, ECG, motion-tolerant SpO₂, temperature, and respiration rate, with optional End-Tidal CO₂ modules for expanded capability.
  • Advanced Connectivity
Supports Ethernet and RS-232 with open protocol and HL7 compliance for hospital system integration. Enables remote monitoring of up to 32 devices via Infinium Omniview with data archiving and management.

The Omni Express Capnograph is beneficial in:

Clinical scenarios where EtCO₂ monitoring improves safety.

Pain Management
Suppressed respiratory function can occur during patient-controlled analgesia (PCA). Monitoring End-Tidal CO₂ helps clinicians detect respiratory depression early and intervene before severe complications like coma or cardiac arrest occur.
Minor Procedure Sedation
The American Society of Anesthesiologists recommends monitoring ventilation during sedation through clinical observation and exhaled carbon dioxide monitoring. EtCO₂ provides one of the earliest indicators of respiratory complications.
Sedation Dentistry
The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons recommends continuous monitoring of ventilation during sedation and anesthesia. Monitoring exhaled carbon dioxide ensures adequate breathing during procedures.
